"Haifa Museum's Vitrines", 1995

In 1995 the Haifa Museum art curator asked me if I would like to use showcases in the archaeology wing before they are going to be dismantled.
Those cases usually displayed statuettes and other small artifacts from the Hellenistic period, therefore it was clear to me that I would like to install in them a group of my fabricated objects side by side with the original items. I also knew I was going to use the original labels and wall inscriptions to serve as explanations to my objects as well.
The installation was equally severe and humorous.
